Perceived Love explores the tension between holding on and letting go. Over ninety days, tears collected after a breakup were crystallized using aluminum potassium sulfate. Through a chemical process, the salt in the tears forms fragile structures that are later shaped into jewelry. Perceived Love translates emotional intensity into material presence, reframing softness and emotional exposure as something to be held, carried, and honored.
