Memories of a Distant City

Samin Ghoochi (IR); Omid Zolfaghari (IR)
I left my homeland carrying an image of it with me. Now I read the news and try to match it to that memory, but the image keeps shifting. I know I will not find the same city I hold inside me. It feels as though I am looking at my own streets through a distant lens, trying to understand what has happened and where. I search for the homes of my friends and family in fragments of news and scattered images.

The work invites touch, tracing the wounds and voices carried by the city.
