Stille Okkupantin

Taking over a room
Lun Raaberg (AT)
Spaces left abandoned or forgotten about for long enough tend to be taken over by other creatures. Silently and at first invisibly, the room is occupied and turned into a home, bed and deadly trap. You might not see the culprit, but it knows exactly where you touched its net.
Stille Okkupantin seeks to invite visitors into its house. Staying in hiding, the host wishes for you to admire its work. Please interact gently – this is someone’s home after all.
Lun Raaberg, born in Linz in 2003, is a visual artist specialising in plastics, animation, illustration and language play. Central themes in Raaberg’s work are (foreign) body, identity and (un)awareness. In their creative process they usually adopt a sketchy and experimental approach. They are currently studying Time-based and Interactive Media Arts at University of Arts Linz and working as Head of Awareness at YOUKI International Youth Media Festival.
