What does the skin remember?

Sara Bravin (IT); Alessandro Bravin (IT)
What does the skin remember? is a performance-based research project with two performers wearing custom wearable devices. Inspired by contact improvisation, it explores touch as a way of listening and connecting through movement. Each contact leaves a sonic trace that can stay, return and change over time, creating a shared sound space. The project investigates how touch and sound shape memory, movement and relationships, creating new ways of sensing and remembering.
