Loops talk

by
Technical University Berlin

This talk discusses the political affordances of Operational imaging within 3D softwares in current discourses of environmental change and colonial reckoning. Through a presentation of two case studies by the investigative agency Forensic Architecture, the speakers unpack the importance of artistic direction, scientific analysis, and technology in creating evidentiary material used for activism.

For the Ars Electronica edition of our Loops series, we are joined by Mark Mushiva and Tobechukwu Onwukeme—members of the Forensic Architecture team, among others—for a conversation on their interdisciplinary practices and the role of computation in investigative methods.

The event will take place at Kunstuni Campus at the Ars Electronica Festival Hauptplatz 6 and is open to all, a livestream will be available.

Date

The event will take place on Friday 6 between 12:00 and 13:30 pm
