Super Tapestry

by
Sule Suarez, Lukas Romero

“Super Tapestry” is an ambient proposal that blends into an experimental ensemble: live coding, a phase vocoder in Max and guitar with effects pedals. “Super Tapestry” is a collaboration between musician Lukas Romero (Niu Toronja) and visual artist Sule Suarez.

These improvisations are based on the idea of using space as a source of inspiration. They are driven by the desire to craft immersive sonic landscapes, rich in textures and ambient sounds.

Sule Suarez: I am a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans creative code, visual and sound generation, web design and textile. Through these mediums, I craft immersive experiences that push the boundaries of artistic expression.

I pursued my undergraduate studies in Plastic Arts at the National University of Colombia and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Interface Cultures at Kunstuniversität Linz. Additionally, I am an active member of Toplab Bogotá, a livecoding community, as well as Vestidas y Alborotadas, a collective focused on livecoding and textiles. I am also involved in Super Tapestry, an ambient music group that explores the fusion of analog and digital sources.
