In NOBODY EXHIBITS erforscht Karoline Pöhn Webkanten als Träger verkörperten Wissens und feministischer Theorie. Durch textile Schichtungen entstehen Farbwechsel und Brüche, welche auf biografische Übergänge verweisen – inspiriert von Gloria Anzaldúas Konzepten „Nepantla“ und „Borderlands“. Pöhns Praxis verbindet Material, Intuition und Theorie und lädt dazu ein, Zwischenräume als eigenständige Orte der Umdeutung  und Selbstermächtigung zu begreifen.

In NOBODY EXHIBITS, Karoline Pöhn explores selvages as bearers of embodied knowledge and feminist theory. Layers of textiles generate colour changes and breaks that refer to biographical transitions – inspired by Gloria Anzaldúa’s concepts of ‘Nepantla’ and ‘Borderlands’. Pöhn’s practice combines material, intuition, and theory and invites viewers to understand interstices as independent places of reinterpretation and self­empowerment.
