TORSO PAIN attempts to make the embodiment  of a collective ‘they’ tangible and able to be ex perienced. To this end, Ivy Deacon constructs an imaginary space: Between reality and fantasy, a world full of camp emerges – sexy, tender, and silly – in which gender is something malleable and playful.
