Dirty Data

Simon Hehl

Whenever we think about data and data-processing systems, we mostly think of something clean. So, what do we mean when we use the term “dirty data”? What does “dirty” signify? What makes our data dirty? And how do we deal with it?

“Dirty Data” is a research-based artwork about the different narratives and perspectives regarding the term “dirty data.” It includes digital and analog elements and embeds the discussion in a pop-cultural environment.
