This winter semester the University of Arts Linz is holding a lecture series on the topic of FEMINIST AI. During the Ars Electronica Festival we start with a lecture by the artist and scholar Elena Knox (AU/JP), who will talk about identity and intimacy in a techno-science future and will reflect constructions of gender based on her research. The workshop “Unlearning Gender” Jelena Mönch (DE) and Miguel Rangil (ES) – students from Interface Cultures department –will speculate on alternative modes of categorisation to resist algorithmic-binary normalization.
