The work translates the functions of a ritual, of protection and security, to the body and the adornment of it. From meaning to visualization in everyday life. "I create a safe environment through ritual to be a safe home for my body and soul." From the superficial to the profound. Do clothes express my feelings? The video work is preceded by an exploratory approach in which questions were developed to frame the artistic realizations. "How do I feel today? What am I wearing today? What does my body need today? In what space do I see myself today?" Over the course of a week, I asked myself these questions daily and documented how I was feeling. Image and sound levels create a poetic and very personal approach. The body and its surroundings become a projection surface. Projected are feelings and places of desire in a time of isolation. Moments of longing and well-being are shown. From waterfall to "no-signal" - that's how I felt.
