The project ‘Familiar Impressions’ is an augmented reality animation. It focuses on the personal and familial background of the artist Deepa Antony. Through the use of many short and simply animated video sequences the artist shows different impressions of life in India. The final product is a printed still image on a poster. The correlating animations can be viewed by using the augmented reality app ‘Artivive’.
