Lima 2 November

by Martín Amodeo
I am a biologist and participate in projects of ecology and conservation biology and as a teaching assistant at the National University of the South, Argentina. Since I was young, I have studied music and sound formally and non-formally and have participated in projects related to music, electroacoustics and videogames as a musician and sound designer. As a biologist and sound artist I look forward to the interaction between science and art with focus on biodiversity and soundscapes. I explore sounds in different nature-culture interaction scenarios as key elements of natural and cultural heritage. Contemplation, field recording, analysis and transformation, encourage me to learn from those sounds and re-interpret them in different contexts. pepiamodeo.com pepiamodeo.bandcamp.com soundcloud.com/pepiamodeo
